Dear Members of the group,
Let me introduce my self. My name is Vladimir Zecevic and I am CEO of
small software company that makes automation tools for broadcast cable
and signage industry.
I will not disturb you again if you do not reply to this message.
My company has made many automation plug-ins for Adobe Photoshop that
is used in various Broadcast, Cable, and Signage applications. However
many of our clients has asked from us to make similar products that
they can use in PowerPoint production.
We have made one such product. However nobody here is professional
presenter and therefore nobody can tell us objective opinion. People
that have asked from us to make this product are more than satisfied
with the result, but that is not enough for us to make product
available to the public.
I would be very grateful if you would be so kind and take few moments
of your time and take a look of this tool and tell me your opinion
about it. I am primarily interested about its usability and should we
offer it to PowerPoint users at all.
It is much more complicated to explain how software works than to use
it.
Basically software iterate trough Photoshop layers, generate clips
from each layer (bottom most layer can be used as Background) and
export each layer as a separate clip in PNG, TIF, JPG, or BMP format.
It also exports transparency if format for clips is chosen to be TIF
or PNG.
But after it exports clips it generate HTML file (actually several
files) which can be opened in PowerPoint with all layers placed at
right position as separate clips. You can also import generated file
as a slide in existing presentation.
If you there is one interested about testing this tool and express its
opinion please contact me at (e-mail address removed)
I am primarily interested about its usability and should we offer it
to PowerPoint users at all, but also if you have any (and I really
mean ANY) comments critics or suggestions, feel free to contact me.
Thank you for your patience.
Best Regards,
Vladimir Zecevic
