PHStat2 - Windows Only Macro for Excel?

I'm currently in a statistics class as a business major and having switched
completely over to a PowerBook G4, I'd like to be able to run Prentise
Hall's PHstat2 without running a Windows emulator. If anyone could give me
the low down on somehow jerry-rigging a port of phstat2, I would be much
obliged and willing to tell all the world of your jerry-porting skills.
That's right, all of the five people I know would hear your name in
praise... well, something like that. Too many times I've gone to use it
and said to myself "d'oh!" because I can't use the da*$#! thing.

Hi,

I can't be sure, but it appears that PHstat2 is an Excel Add-in. Find
someone who has installed this add-in and ask them to give you just the
..xla file.

You can put it into your Offce add-ins folder and in Excel use Tools>
Add-Ins and then Add it to your list. You also need to have the analysis
toolpak and analysis toolpak VBA addins checked in the Add-ins menu.

The help files won't work with the add-in. There's an outside chance
the add-in itself will work since it's compatible with XL 97.

I have tried that. The problem is it says it has a error with "setupmenu"
when attempting to open the .xla file either on its own or through
add-ins, so it just ditches the whole attempt.

Hi,

Does the error message say anything specific? Usually error messages
give a clue as to the cause of the error or offers a number. Sometimes
not, though.
