Physical % Complete Rollup

Hi all,

I'm trying to understand the calculation for the rollup of the
physical % complete....

It seems to be weighted. Is there any place in the system it tells
you what exactly the rollup is???

how can I understand the value of the rollup action???

This is a cost weighted rool up.

You will need to have all tasks set to use Physical%Complete as teh EV
method. Also change the method for new tasks by selecting
Tools/Options/Calculations (tab), click Earned Value and select a baseline
and Physical%Complete.

Resources in the resource sheet must contain costs, even $1/hr will do.
Assign the resources to tasks, set a basline and status date.

Now when you increase Physical%Complete you will see the roll up weighted by
time phased costs of the baseline.
