This has happened to me once before when working on a long
document in Word, Windows 95 now here it is happening in
98. My document was fine and went to print. After seeing
the printed hard copy, I saw some things I wanted to edit
before I burned the final file onto CD. I had problems
opening the file that was already on the CD(that's another
story)so I worked from the file on my computer. AS I was
going through the document editing for hours, I starting
seeing pics/images were wiped out and showed up as a box
with a red X in it. So I proceeded to re-insert the
pic/images, pulling them from other files and files from a
networked computer. Needless to say that darn illegal
operation warning came up a closed everything down. I am
so frustrated with this happening. Our office produces
these long documents which are printed into book format
several times a year. This is frustrating when you have to
keep re-inserting images. What wipes them out?
