Pictur Manager how do I zoom in on photo & capture zoomed in part

Hi there

Reference Microsoft Office Picture Manager. I have taken several shots of
people far away. When I zoom in on the MS Office Picture Manager to get a
close up of the people, how can I "save" the picture as a close up, ie what I
see the zoomed in close up I see on the sxreen?

It's not cropping as that only cuts bits off the original image, it doesn't
help for close ups or zooming in.

Any ideas?

thanks

regards

PS I have MS Vista

Accessories is in the Start menu... Once you have the zoom on your screen you
can capture just the close up you want with the snipping tool. It is somewhat
like Print Screen.

While Mary is helping you in Picture Manager to do what you want, if you are
trying to crop out other people in your pictures I would recommend another
standalone picture imaging program.

Infranview is one that is used by many and can be viewed here:

Always save any changed image as a new filename and keep the original file
unchanged for later use.
