Printer says my captions (text underneath picture) are
are flowing or printing over the pictures in my
newsletter.

My printout and hard copy look fine? any suggestions
would be appreciated. I use MS Publisher 2000

Technically this should not happen with Publisher 2000, but it does.
Suggest you give the printer a PDF file instead.
That way you can be virtually guaranteed it is going to print the same on
the printers system.

-- I did send pdf file also but they say they can't get
the color separations from the pdf file....I'm thinking
about upgrading to Pub 2003 since it has I understand
improved commercial printing capabilities...thanks for
your reply...

If they have the right software like 'Quite A Box of Tricks' often called
QABOT or Enfocus Pitstop you can easily convert to CMYK
Many printers have this software so try another one
