Picture disappearing in outlook signature

I have added a picture to my outlook email signature (via advanced edit,
inserting a small picture in the word doc and then saving).

It has been working fine for 6 months, but recently the picture is failing
to display once the message has been sent (it occassionally disappears before
I send the message.)

Can someone tell me how to fix this?
