picture fails to refresh

When I first open my web site everything is fine. When I refresh the page,
one of the pictures comes up with the dreaded little red X. When I check my
ftp site the image is still there. This is the only image on the site that
does this. Why do I loose the picture on refresh and how can I prevent it??
