Picture-Frame with fixed position

Hi there,
I wanted to make a template with PowerPoint where I have 2 picture-frames on
1 slide and when I drag and drop (or Crtl+C Crtl+V) a picture in, the
picture-frame sould not move it's poition or change it's size or change the
ratio of my inserted picture.
Is this anyhow possible?
Can I do this with VBA?
Can I do it without VBA?

I found a program that does what I mean, but it's no longer supported

(don't let the "Looney Toons" thing fool you).

Open up a shape on the left, then click on a picture in the gallery and
click "substitude".
Now the frame stays, the picture can be tossed around and at the end, it's
only one click on "cut" and I got it.

Can anyone help me doing this with PowerPoint or Word or...?

Check into the Image Importer Wizard. It isn't free, but it is very
reasonably priced and will let you do just what you want to do. Find more

Hi Kathy,
thanks for the link - i tried it out but it makes my workflow only longer.
What I tried to make was a shape on a slide where I can drag and drop a
picture in while the frame does not move or change its size.
After inserting the picture into the shape/Image/... I wanted to toss the
image around in its shape to get the best section out of the picture.
Can you see where I would like to go?
Can you help me there?

I kind of see what you want to do, but I don't think that PPT is really the
way to do it. I would suggest doing the image adjustment in your favorite
photo or graphics editing program and then inserting the results into PPT.

Maybe someone else will have some ideas...
