Picture (Image) Loading problem

I have a couple questions in regards to loading a pictures on a form. First
is there a way to suppress the loading message when loading the image to the
screen on a form. Also, when scrolling through the records with images if I
go too fast for some reason the DB locks up or shuts down. Does anyone have
a solution for this? Each picture is saved in a folder and the path is saved
in a table. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your response. However, since this DB is going to be sent to a
few place this option I don't think would be viable. Thanks again.

Thanks for your response Tom. I did incorporate this second option and it
seems to limit the inserting image box from showing up. However, I had to
set the timer to 10 from the recommend 200. I really didn't see too much of
a difference until I set the number really low. If this program is placed on
a server won't this cause increase traffic back and forth?

Then you are setting yourself up to fail. Simply create a small VB
routine to modify the necessary Registry keys.

Thanks for your reply. The reason I mentioned what I id was I didn't think
that was possible. How would you go about doing that? Also, by messing with
the registry could that possibly create any problems for any other program?

Thanks
