picture in signature

The graphic I use is .jpg and I save it in Word as HTML It shows up
fine in the Signature Picker (once I've set it up in Word) - but then when I
open a new message using the account with the signature, all I get is a box
with the red "X" in it......help ! I use MS Word and Outlook 2002
