Picture layout default

How can the default for picture layout be changed. The default is currently
set for "Inline with Text" and I always have to change it.

I would prefer to have the default set for "Square" or "Bring to Front". I
have looked at the Formatting Palette>Wrapping>Style area and see no way to
change the default.

Thanks

Hello Bill -

In Mac Word there is no Preference setting for that... which is probably why
you can't find one:)

One thing that may work is if you open your Normal template, change the
setting there & save. The next time you create a new doc [I believe] it
should work based on the saved setting.

Another option might be to go the macro route, but I'll leave that to
someone else to elaborate on.

Sorry Bill:

We did not get that feature in Word 2004. And Mac Word VBA has not been
updated to enable you to set the property by VBA either.

Sorry: You can't get there from here....

Cheers

....Nope, that ain't gonna work either:-( There isn't any way to get the
template to "hold" the text wrapping options - and as John wrote, it can't
even be controlled with VBA.
