Picture Manager 2003 how do you delete folders from Picture Shortc

D

Dennis

I mistakenly used Office Picture Manager 2003 to browse a DVD containing
pictures of a friends vacation pictures.

Office Picture Manager 2003 inserted a shortcut for the DVD folder at the
bottom of the "Picture Shortcuts". I have since given the DVD back to the
owner and no longer have the DVD. I attempt to delete the folder name use a
right click and I am told to "Please insert a disk into the drive". When I
do a right click, I do not see an option to "Remove Shortcuts", I only see
"New Folder and Delete Folder".

I am really stuck and have several folders like this that I cannot delete.
Can anyone explain how to delete the folders?

Hi Dennis,

The list of folders that Office 2003 Picture Manager
manages is in a plain text, XML formatted file on your
PC OISCatalog.cag. With Picture Manager closed
make a backup of the .CAG file, open the
original in Windows Notepad and remove the lines/folders
no longer to be used.
