Picture Manager editing functions disabled

I've noticed that the Office 2003 Picture Manager editing functions (e.g.,
resize, brightness/contrast etc.) are only functional when I log in as an
administrator. Without this login, the slider controls "snap" back when I
attempt to edit an image. Is there any way to overcome this problem? Thanks.

All i figured out is that the admin must log into the pc first, and run Pic
Man first.

Then the user can run Pic Man.

i tested this with a new system. I think the Admin writes some files the
user can't. And i saw the office "install" window pop up when i first ran it
under the user. So i bet it's something like that.

of course I tried to test it by logging in as admin after the user already
ran the proggie, and well it didn't work.

i'm still looking for a solution.

just think uninstall and reinstall then try my Admin first and user second
rule. I did a repair, and nothing.
