Picture manager export tiff files to jpegs

i have tried the export function from tiff to jpegs. but always getting same
message some files have not exported. made sure i have selected a different
location , and selected jpeg. had already resized it down. is it becuase the
cd rom is protected? have also tried to save image as jpeg , but the drop
down is greyed out. so can change it to jpeg. any ideas ?

In the Picture Manager, getting started taskbar, click the export option...

yes i have tried that. it seems you have to copy the file from the disk first
, then open it in picture manager, then resize it down, then re save it again
replacing the first copy , then open again then export, but you can only do
one at a time. i was hoping there was some software that would convert
several tiff files at once.

A number of graphics packages can do batch conversions, including http://www.irfanview.com
