picture manager preferences help

I just tried to open a picture sent to me using picture manager, while I was
unable to see the pic sent to me, I was shocked to see over 1000+ images of
pictures I looked at on the internet, I never saved any of them, they were
random pictures from for sale ads placed on craigslist and also just random
images of pictures on websites I had visited. I am wondering why this is
happening and how I can prevent it from happening again. It takes a long
time to individually click on an image to delet it from the computer, would
appreciate any help

When was the last time you cleared your temporary internet files folder?
Look in Internet options and pick Delete files.
