Picture Manager Problem(office2003)

I’m using the Picture Manager that comes with Office 2003 and have a very
wired problem.

I can open a picture and select ‘Edit Pictures’ but if I click on
‘Brightness and Contrast’ and move the slider bar left or right (or even
enter a figure) when I move my mouse off the slider it resets back to zero
thus not making the changes to the photo.

The computer this happens on is a shared company and other users of this
computer do not have any problems. (I have checked the users permissions
levels and that the photo is not read only – it happens with any image)

Computer is running Windows XP+SP2 including all the latest patches.

Office 2003 installed – fully patched via the office update website.

That would tend to indicate a problem with that users profile or rights.
Suggest create ne profile for that user, if you are certain that all
rights are correct.

i'm already created new profile, It's the same. this user permission same as
can't users

Have you tried making user an administrator on the PC?
