Picture Manager - removing picture shorcuts

It is easy to add a picture shortcut to Picture Manager. But, how do I
remove one?
I have a shortcut to a "My Pictures" folder on another network PC that I
need to remove from my Picture Manager's shortcuts. Thanks.

From help
Remove a picture shortcut
Removing a picture shortcut will remove it from the Picture Shortcuts pane, but it
will not delete the folder from your computer or network location.

In the Picture Shortcuts pane, select the shortcut you want to remove.
Right-click the folder, and click Remove Shortcut.
Note If you click Delete, the folder will be sent to the Recycle Bin, rather than
removed from the Picture Shortcuts pane.

Mary, thanks for the post. Yes, I looked in "Help" and folllowed the
instructions just as you posted, below. However, when I right-click any
folder in the Shortcuts Pane, there is NO OPTION to "Remove Shortcut" (even
though Help says there is). This leaves me with no way to remove unwanted
shortcuts. This is true with all three of my PC's, so I presume it is a
program bug in Picture Manager? Does your version of Picture Manager display
the "Remove Shortcut" option?

This is not a simple preference issue I can just live with....Since the
shortcut is to a file on another PC, if that PC is turned off, loading and
using Picture Manager causes huge delays (4 min.) while the app searches the
network for the "off" PC. Essentially I can only use Picture Manager when
all my network PC's are turned on. Thanks.

You cannot delete the shortcut to "My Pictures" however you can expand the folder and
delete the shortcuts to each folder inside My Pictures. You can use shift and select
multi-folders. This works for me.

The offending shortcut is a link to another network PC. That link appears in
the shortcut pane under "Recently Browsed". Since that link is not
technically a "shortcut", it cannot be removed (there is no "Remove Shortcut"
option when the link is right-clicked).

BUT there is a simple solution: I found and renamed the file
"OIScatalog.CAG" to "OIScatalog2.CAG". Then, when I opened Picture Manager
everything went back to original and the offending link (as well as "Recently
Browsed") was gone. I guess the same could be accomplished by editing the
file to remove the offending link. The app created a new OIScatalog.CAG file
for itself without any modifications.

Many thanks to Mary Sauer and Bob I. for their help in solving this very
annoying problem!! Now I have use of Picture Manager again (and I won't be
using it to browse pictures on other network PC's again) :)
