Picture Manager

I got a new laptop and Picture Manager is not on here - I absolutely loved it
for ease of resizing photos I was sending thru e-mail. I do have Microsoft
Office Tools - but Picture Manager was not an option. Just trying to figure
out how I got it before on my Desktop - everything on my Desktop I put in -
I just don't remember which software has the Picture Manager. Can somebody
help?

Picture Manager comes with Office 2003. Unfortunately, I can't find anything
definitive saying *which versions* of Office 2003 it comes with, so I have
to assume that all of the versions -- Pro, Standard, Small Business, etc. --
have it.

If it's not installed on your system, and you've got Office 2003 installed,
then put your installation CDs in and run a custom installation to install
Picture Manager. Open your Windows Control Panel, and double-click
Add-Remove Programs. Find MS Office 2003 in the list of installed programs
and click the Change button. Follow the instrux on-screen to add a program.

Thank you so much Echo - it turns out my Desktop has Office Small Business
2003, but my laptop has Microsoft Works Suite 2005. Do you know if I can
install the Office Small Business on my laptop in addition to or do I have to
remove Works Suite first?????

If you have a retail Office 2003 SBE,you can install on your laptop. In
your desktop open any Office 2003 application and go to Help, About. The
click on the link to the End User License Agreement for the full details.
If your desktop has a pre-installed OEM version of Office 2003 SBE, then it
is limited to that computer. If the later is the case, your Works Suite is
a qualifying product for any upgrade version of Office 2003.

Your Works Suite 2005 contains Word 2002. IMO you should uninstall Word
2002 prior to installing Office 2003. The rest of the Works Suite is fine
with Office installed. You can leave it unless your need the disk space on
your laptop.
