Picture manager

My laptop just had an office upgrade from 2000 to 2003 and Photo Editor was
lost and I gained Picture manager. I used to use photo editor a lot when
writing up instructions and used to copy part of pictures very easily. I am
not able to see a way of doing this in picture manager. Can anyone help?
