picture Not displaying

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

I typed a long assignment with pictures in it and when i try to open it it doesn't display everything, only first page. and when i go to wingdows and open it it does not show the pictures i got and says that it doesn't have enough space to display or print the picture. Then i delete quite alot of documents and it says the same thing? Plz help!

The file has corrupted.

That error message means that Word cannot "read" the pictures stored in the
document.

You can get the text out by opening in "Recover text from any file" mode.
See the Help topic " Recover text from a damaged document".

If it is a .docx file, you can unzip it and get the pictures out, then
re-make the document. Just change the file extension to ".zip" then
right-click the file and open it with BOM Archive Helper or Stuffit.

You will then find a folder inside that contains the pictures.

WARNING: Do not unzip the document until you have got the text out, because
after you have unzipped it, you cannot put it back together on the Mac. You
can reassemble it on the PC, but just heed this warning, and you will not
get the problem :)
