picture prints differently based on computer

Hi there,

I have a word template that contains a picture file.
However depending from which computer I use it to print it
out, the output differs. One Computer is jsut fine, from
another I get a sort of grey raster background in the
areas that are white. Do I need to change some settings?

Also is there a way not to be able to select the image,
because the image is a background behind text and
everytime I select the text to edit it, it may select the
image first, very annoying.

Thanks

Ben

Hi Ben,

Graphic handling can vary by version of Word,
graphics driver, Windows version and the printer
choice/driver in File=>Print and the choices of
properties/options for that printer.

Selecting a graphic vs selecting text can be
influenced by the order (layer precedence) and
wrapping style chosen. If the wrapping is set,
for example, to be 'in front of text' your mouse
cursor can 'catch' the graphic. If it's behind
text you generally won't get the graphic first.

If you turn off [x] Drawings in Tools=>Options=>View
while you're editing your text the graphics will
not be seen or touchable.
