picture recoloring issue

O

Ouch

Using Office2004 for Mac S.Edition: Have several presentations with
slides containing picture objects--they're of graph axis--that are
recolored white. Background is black. Changes are saved and
everything works great..until that presentation is the second
concurrent presentation that is opened. Then the recolored slides
revert to default black. If I open that second presentation first, it
works, but if the second presentation also has recolored pictures, they
too revert to default black color. Third and fourth presentations
running concurrently have no problem, just the second. Problem has
been duplicated on my desktop. All patches applied. This is really
stumping me. Is there a fix or a work around?
