Picture "Shadow" option gone

I recently installed Microsoft upgarde 11.2.4 to two Macs - one a G5
running 10.4.6, the other a PowerBook G4 running 10.3.9.

In both cases, after installing the MS upgarde, the "Shadow" option no
longer appears in the Formatting Plalette between "Colors, Weights and
Fills" and "Document" when inserting a picture into a document and
activating the picture.

I can no longer drop a shadow around the edge of a picture in a
document

I have reset the Prefernces, logged in as a new user and done
everything that MS Tech Support has suggested as a fix, but nothing has
worked.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Perfect!!! It works.

A question - why did I never have to format the picture as "square"
previous to the MS 11.2.4 update?

Previously, any time I inserted a picture, the "Shadow" option was
automatically displpayed on the Formatting Pallette. Was this because
"square" was the default option?

If so, how can I make it the default option???
