Picture to see through

John

If I have two picture, and I want one picture to sit on top of the other, and
be able to see through the picture, how is that possible? I'm using Microsoft
Word 2003. Please tell me which formats are (Jpeg, gif) acceptable for this
procedure, and how to do it. Getting the picture to sit over the other is not
the main problem, the problem is how to I get to see the picture below while
the above picture is sitting on top? Thanks.

Hi John,

Other than making one colour in a picture completely transparent, you can't. Word's autoshapes can be set to semi-transparent
though, via Format|Shape|Color.

If the picture on top is a GIF with a transparent color, you can use Through
wrapping to allow part of the picture below to show through. You can also
adjust the transparency of the top picture.
