picture too large.

Want to make picture smaller like around 740. Right now the pictures are
2400. Where do I go in Microsoft to downsize a picture.

You can use Paint. Or you can resize the picture in the Picture Manager. What
programs do you have or what version Windows?

I have xp and 2000 microsoft program. Machine getting old and not a lot of
memory left on it. Want to wait as I hear too many problems with vista. So
thought if i keep my pictures at a lower size it would not use up as much
memory.
I do keep most of my pictures on an external drive except when using that
particular file. Most of my pictures from the camera are 2400 and that is a
large picture.

I just tried using paint and not impressed with that one. Terrible program

I just realized you were not talking about the one on my computer which is a
paint but one I have to download.
