Picture within Table scaling problem

Problem: I want to create a table say 2 x 2 and then drop in various
pictures of different dimensions. I don't want the Table size to be changed
by the size of the pictures I place within the cells.

Am I trying to do something impossible ? Can I use a different method to
achieve the desired results ? My pictures will be changed periodically so I
want to be able to do this easily.

Any help or pointers much appreciated.
