I have received a word document from a relative with a
picture (scanned photograph) The picture was very old and
it requires a little touching up, can anyone please
suggested the best method of exporting/saving as a
different format (tiff jpeg etc) so it can can be used in
Adobe Elements or another photo pakage

Save the doc file as a web page ...and that will split the image file out to
its own separate file.
