Pictures and graphics in Entourage e-mails

I am running the latest version of Office 2004 for the Mac(13.3.3.) on
an Intel-based MacBook Pro. The Entourage software appears to be
stuck in a mode where it does not download pictures or graphics unless
I click a link in the preview or full window for the e-mail. I have,
and many times, set preferences to show pictures and graphics. Please
let me know how to fix this.

This is a security measure in Entourage 2004. Entourage will automatically
download pictures and graphics, but only if the sender is in your address
book or if the sending domain is in the Junk E-mail Protection's white list
(go to Tools>Junk E-mail Protection, enable the feature, if you haven't done
so already, then click on the Safe Domains tab to enter domains in the text
field). If none of these conditions apply, you will have to enable the
display of the graphics manually, on a case-to-case basis.

thanks - the fix doesn't work reliably, even though I have added the
sender to my address book. I'll do a further post after I get more
experience.
