Pictures disappear in Print Layout View

Pictures inserted into a word document used to be visible in Print
Layout View. All of a sudden, they are now only visible in Reading Pane
View, in Print Layout View all I see now is an outline of where the
image is, not the image itself. Any ideas on how I can reset word to
show the images in Print Layout View?

Hi Z,

The only other thing I could suggest would be to go to Tools, Options,
View...and under "Print and Web Layout Options", ensure that the box
called "Drawings" is still checkmarked. If it's not, you won't see
your picture in Print Layout view, but will still be able to see it in
Reading Layout view.
