Everything was going fine and working well in a subweb that I created to
store pictures. I didnt like the way photo galleries displayed images, so
hundreds of pictures were placed as thumbnails on several different pages,
and could then be clicked on individually to produce an enlarged version.
Out of the blue, all of the pictures disappeared. The thumbnails were
replaced with X's and the links resulted as:
"The page cannot be displayed
There is a problem with the page you are looking for and it cannot be
displayed. This error can occur if you are trying to display an HTML page
that resides in a directory that is configured to allow Execute or Script
permissions only.

Contact the Web site administrator if you believe this directory should
allow read access.
HTTP Error 403.2 - Forbidden: Read access is denied.
Internet Information Services (IIS) "
As well, every file in my subweb and every picture is listed as "conflict"
or "Unmatched" -I have the ability to republish them, but they never appear
on the remote site, and every time I open frontpage, they're marked as
conflict or unmatched again.
I dont understand how they could be working for weeks and all of a sudden
disappear, but hopefully someone will be able to help me figure out why
and/or what to do. Thanks in advance.
