pictures display but don't show in print preview

I'm in print layout view and can see a JPG logo in the document. However
when I print preview or print, the JPG doesn't print. The picture was marked
"Through". If I put the picture "Inline with text", it displays in print
preview and prints correctly. If I put the picture in any other mode it
doesn't. This document is simply a form we use in the office and I've
printed any number of times without problems.

In your print settings - make sure that Drawing Objects is checked and that
Print Data Only for Forms *isn't*.

On the Print tab of Tools | Options, make sure that "Drawing objects" is
checked. This setting governs everything that is in the "drawing layer,"
which includes text boxes and any graphics that aren't In Line With Text.

Thanks, That was it. Of course now I wonder why it "changed" because I sure
didn't change it!

Anyway it works now.

Glad to help -

If your 'wondering' refers to the 1st point, I'm not sure why the setting
change may have occurred, but the 2nd (Print Data Only for Forms) is
document specific - if you open a doc that was set for that (even by someone
else) the setting will be respected by your copy of Word 'til you change it.
