Pictures from google images vanish from my powerpoint slides

I have imported pictures from Google images to use on powerpoint slides.
This always worked in the past. Now, I get white boxes with red x's where
there used to be pictures. Sometimes I use the same picture in more than one
presentation and the image will fine in one slide set but vanish from the
other. Can anyone tell me why this is? Thanks, Katie

one thing more: get use to 1) save image as; 2) insert image ...Instead of
pasting them.
