The following worked - I did delete all folders named Outlook, just keeping a
copy with my .pst file.
a. Make sure you have the Office 2007 disk at hand
b. Open control panel and then add/remove programs
c. Remove anything that says Microsoft Office 2007
d. Click start, run, type regedit click OK
e. Click the + next to HKey_Current_User
f. Click the + next to Software
g. Click the + next to Microsoft
h. Right Click on Office and choose export. Export it to the desktop and
give it any name. (This is for backup purposes)
i. Then back into the registry editor and Right Click on Office and choose
delete
j. Click yes for message that appears.
k. Click the + next to HKey¬_Local_Machine
l. Click the + next to Software
m. Click the + next to Microsoft
n. Right Click on Office and choose export. Export it to the desktop and
give it any name. (This is for backup purposes)

q. Close registry Editor window.
r. Click start, run type %temp%. click ok.
