I'm on an Windows XP machine with Office 2007 Standard Edition installed. Today, emails with inline images stopped displaying inside of outlook (either using the preview window or opening the email itself). When the image is initially displayed, it has a red X. I right click and select download images to view the images in the email. Outlook appears to be downloading the image but then just shows the red X. In doing some google searches I have found suggestions to reset the registry value "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Common\BLOCKHTTPIMAGES" from 1 to 0. Mine is already set to 0. The only other suggestion I says to go to Editor Options\Advanced\Display Email Content and uncheck "Show picture placeholders". Mine was already unchecked. I have alos tried doing a repair on Outlook to no avail. No new network changes or system changes have occurred since this error started happening. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!
TIA,
David
