It's just like the subject line says. A word doc I created on my Gates Crate at work, in Word 2002, has a lot of pictures in said document. However, when I opened the doc on my Mac at home (G4 PowerPC, Word 2004), all of the pictures have disappeared. Their places are still there, and word still thinks that there are pictures there.....they're just invisible.
I unchecked the placeholder option in both windows Word and my Mac word. Nothing changes. I've tried importing via email attachment, via flashdrive, and via remote desktop connection between the two computers, with my harddrive showing up on the Windows directory (In this case, the transfer was done by drag and drop.). This is infuriating.
I can open docs created in Mac Word on the Windows machine.
Help.
