Pictures in Word Document

I would like to move pictures on the document, but I need to change the
default amount it moves when I highlight and move it with the cursor. I
don't want it moved as much. I need smaller movement increments.

Have you tried holding the control button down when you press the
directional arrow keys to move your image?

To change the default snap to grid increment in Word 2003 or earlier,
display the Drawing toolbar (View | Toolbars | Drawing), click on Draw |
Grid, and change the horizontal and vertical spacing to something more
to your liking.

If you are dragging the picture around the screen with your mouse, then
at any time you can temporarily turn off the snap to grid feature by
holding down the Alt key while you drag.
