Pictures inserting incorrectly?

Reinstalled MS FrontPage 2003 and all of a sudden pictures, when inserted,
are rotating themselves incorrectly. ??????? Doesn't matter portrait or
landscape. These are photos. Portrait roates landscape automatically and
landscape rotates to portrait. ANNOYING to say the least. Not using frames,
no specific margins, etc. Nothing special. Anyone know what the heck is
going on? Thanks.

Make sure when you rotate them in a thirdparty image editor that you
actually save it as correct rotation before importing image into FP. Some
image viewers will rotate only for viewing purposes and leave the orig.
image as it was shot.

Rob, thanks- I did, actually. I'm using Digital Image Pro (always have).
AND what's even weirder? Is that when I insert the photo into FrontPage and
it's incorrect - then I open THAT photo with Digital Image Pro - it IS
correct withint he editing software. Go figure. Thanks for trying

This issue came up a while back, and iirc it was fixed by opening the image up in a different
editor such as the free IrfanView, and it actually loaded rotated.
Rotating back and saving it fixed it.
