It's the strangest thing, I use to be able receive emails in my Outlook 2003
with pictures embedded in the body of the email (not as attachments) OR as
attachments. For some reason, now when I receive an email with a picture
embedded in the email, even from internal coworkers, I get the picture
placeholder (the little "X").
There is no option to download pictures - the infobar does not appear at the
top.
Even stranger, if I switch my email format to Word, and then try to forward
or reply to the email with the missing pictures, the picture appears in the
forwarded/replied message since it's in Word format. If I close out of the
forward/reply email, and then open the original email in Outlook, the picture
does not show....
Our IT guys can't figure this out.
