Pictures of all stencils in one file

How or where can I obtain a document that contains a picture of all of the
stencils so I can quickly find the one I need without remembering every
single stencil?

thanks, Al. But, I want to print out a reference manual that has a picture
and name of all of the stencils (or are they referred to as shapes?). I
don't use Visio enough to remember which category (Engineering, Block
diagram, etc.) all of the figures are located.

They are indeed called shapes. The way visio works is that as you drop
shapes on the page they make an intermediate stop in the document stencil
(you can find it from the file menu). The short way would be to take a blank
page in your document and drop them (thus the picture) and then label them
there. You can then copy/paste what you want into your manual. Another
technique would be to 'tag' each of the shapes with user row
(visLegendShape) and take advantage of the Legend Shape. (example open a
network diagram, drag a legend shape onto the page, drag a shape onto the
page (phone?)). This works because the shapesheet of the shape has a
user.vislegendshape row in it.
