Pictures when transferring from MAC to XP

Opening a presentation on XP (Office XP) that was created using
Powerpoint 2004, each picture is blank apart from a message saying
that: I need Quicktime (which is installed) and a "TIFF (uncompressed)
decompressor". The pictures were originally pasted into the
presentation from Google Images. How do I overcome this?

The presentation is homework, to be presented at school (where
technology is not so up-to-date), so needs to be compatible with
earlier versions of Powerpoint on Windows.

It's best not to paste images from any source. More reliable is to save the
image by dragging it to the Desktop, and then using Insert > Picture > From
File to insert the image. Re-doing that on the Mac computer will hopefully
address the problem.

In the future, be sure to use the new Compatibility Report in PowerPoint
2004 (Tools > Compatibility Report). You can choose for it to check against
PowerPoint 2002/XP for Windows so that you'll be alerted of possible
compatibility issues.
