PhotoShop may be your best bet.
The following steps are for Pub2003:
but may be similar for your version.
Draw the shape and right click it...choose...
Format Autoshape / Colors and lines tab /
Fill / Color / open the drop window...choose...
Fill effects / Picture tab / Browse to your
picture / OK / OK
If the image is distorted after importing...
check the box "Lock picture aspect ratio" on
the "Picture" tab after selecting the picture.
