Pie Charts and ridding the tiny pieces.

Hi gang-

Any ideas or input on how to get rid of the sections of a
pie chart that are less than, for example, say 1%? When
charting data with a variety of components, it can become
quite cluttered with meaningless data, which is what I
have been struggling with. I'd like to eliminate this
clutter, but can't figure out how to do that. Even data
that has a 0% portion shows up on my charts and that is
annoying beyond belief.

Thank you for any input you may have in advance!

Sincerely, Joe

I can't speak to the mechanics but grouping the lesser entries under "Misc"
or something more descriptive would enable you to reduce clutter. Add
everything you consider "clutter", give it a name, and include it in the
data array by that name. Now you've got a meaningful depiction of stuff
that's individually "clutter".

Another alternative is to use the Pie of Pie type, which allows you to
group together items into a single wedge, which is then broken out to
the side of the main pie. You can draw a rectangle with a white fill and
white border to cover this second pie.

You can segregate the pieces by position in the list, by value, by
percent, or by dragging them with the mouse.
