Pivot Chart as Subform

I'm trying to put a pivot chart in a form as a sub form.
When I edit the chart, its exactly how I want it, a
stacked bar chart, all nice any everything. Soon as I add
it into a form as a subform, I can only bring it up in
pivot table view - why?
This is annoying - unless anyone can tell me how to
inserts a stacked bar chart using the Insert>Chart method
(but I dont think that format is an option), then I'm
atad stuck.
