Hi Kay -
I'm afraid my German doesn't go beyond some of the typical tourist phrases
picked up from books & movies
Try whatever the equivalent phrase would be for: pivot table chart
In my English version it provides the same list of choices including the one
I mentioned in the previous post, just listed in a different order... It's
basically a matter of using the Chat Wizard to build the chart based on the
pivot table. I copied this from my Help window:
*Create a chart from an existing PivotTable report by using the Chart
Wizard*
When you use this method to create a chart, the chart uses the layout of the
PivotTable report to determine the placement of fields.
1. Hold down CONTROL and click the PivotTable report, point to Select, and
then click Enable Selection so the command is not checked.
2. Remove any subtotals from the PivotTable report.
How3. Click a cell in the PivotTable report.
4. On the Insert menu, click Chart to start the Chart Wizard.
5. Follow the instructions in the Chart Wizard.
Notes
€ A chart created from a PivotTable report changes when you hide items,
show details, or rearrange fields in the source PivotTable report.
€ If your PivotTable report has page fields, the chart changes when you
display different pages. When you display each item in the list for the page
field, Microsoft Excel updates the chart to display the current data.
€ To save and print charts for all page fields in a PivotTable report, on
the PivotTable toolbar click PivotTable, then click Show Pages to display
each page on a separate worksheet. You can then plot each page in an
individual chart.
