Pivot Diagram Refresh Programmatically?

I'm experimenting with Pivot Diagrams (Visio 2007). And I need to
refresh a diagram programmatically (VBA). I tried to capture the
Shape Select and Refresh events using the Macro recorder but the
resulting Macro routine comes up empty. I do not see anything in the
help files.

Any suggestions on how to do this?

Can you point me to any references that describe programmatic
manipulation of Pivot objects generally?
