Pivot table & crashing

Hi,

I don't know if this is a bug.. But if I have a pivot table and I go to
Wizard and then try to use "back" to get to the source data, Excel will
crash. This is particularly bad if the file has been opened in Windows.

Any suggestions (ps. Have done disk utility, repair permissions)

Hello All.

I think i have found out the source of the problem. If a spreadsheet has
a pivot table that has been created/manipulated in a windows version, if
you then open it in excel 2004 for osx and try to edit the source data,
excel crashes.

Any ideas?

Not sure about the Windows thing. I've had the same problem with tables
recently and reported it to MS. But these ones have been nowhere near the
Protestant environment. :)

(That's Umberto Eco) as once mentioned in Macworld).

My tables created with Office XL work fine with "X" and "2004." Maybe some
other corrupt information in your sheet? Can you start a new sheet in a
Windows version and replicate your error?

Hi,

It happens with all files that I have created/edited in a Windows XP/Excel
2003 environment. In fact, it has never not crashed.

Any help would be MOST welcome!!!!
