hi
If I want to keep the data in the data area of pivot table, and NOT
summarize it, is there anyway to do it in Excel? I am able to get this report
in MS Access, which is slow, but not in excel. For eg. if I want to make a 12
quarter forecast of projects for my employees, I would need a report from the
following data, that is saved in a SQL server -
the data looks like this
ID Yr Mo Project
1111 2006 1 A
1111 2006 2 B
and so, I want to generate a pivot table report that looks like this -
ID Yr
1 2 3 4 5 .....
1111 A B A C D
1112 C D A B D .....
So in this report, I would like to see the project names, and not
necessarily the sum or count, etc.
Thank you
