Access 2000 Windows XP. I am trying to create a pivot table form - created
it once worked well then deleted the query and the form. Created another
query and tried to create the form using a wizard. This time it gets as far
as opening excel and then gives me the error message "Problems getting data"
when I click finish.
Deleted the query and form again - tried again but no luck. I can get the
data from the query and create the pivot table from excel but I want it to
be embedded into a form.
Is there an uncomplicated way of doing this without using the wizard. Tried
linking the excel spreadsheet into the form but this just gives me the
results of the query.
Any help on the problem or if someone has a remedy on why the wizard is not
working would appreciate any advice.

PS Reinstalled Office twice to see if there was an error there but no
effect.
