I have a new spreadsheet set up with a list of lots of people an
information regarding how many hours they have booked to a certai
project. Its a very basic list with 5 columns and it is sorted by th
department that they work in.
What i would like to do is put all of this information into a pivo
table so that i can see who has booked the most hours to a certai
project. i also want to be able to see the total hours booked from eac
department.
Now this bit i can do, the hard bit is i want to see this informatio
in a graph. All the information in the list is from the start of th
year, and what i need is to show the hour bookings from each departmen
as an inclining line on a graph that will show what the predicted futur
bookings will be for the rest of the year. Also on this graph i want t
have a standard line that goes from zero to a certain number to reflec
what the hourly bookings should be, so i can compare what they should b
to what they actually are sort of thing! At the moment i have a basi
spreadsheet with 3 tabs. one for the list of information and one fo
the pivot tables / graphs etc.
can this be done on pivot table graphs?? or do i need to create my ow
grpah. i cant seem to do much on excel graphs, please help me somebody
